Walmart’s Reston based Information Security team and local stores in Chantilly, Manassas, and Dulles in partnership with the A Little Bit of Hope foundation collaborated with Dogwood Elementary School to provide “Hope for the Holidays” care packages to 50 families in the school community which included homeless and immigrant families. These care packages included a host of items including toys, games, coloring books, crayons, tooth brushes, toothpaste, chocolates and winter hats as well as gift cards. Team members from Walmart prepared the packages in their Reston office and Dogwood’s Family Liaisons and clinical team connected with families to ensure a festive and joyous holiday season for the school community.
