Talking Points - NEW

Dogwood has a new tool, Talking Points, that you can use to communicate with your children's teachers for free. Talking Points is a text messaging service that connects families and teachers through the two-way translated communication. This unique approach eliminates any language barriers and fosters strong family engagement in development of students’ academic success.

eNotify ~ Text Messaging for Parents

What is it?: eNotify is a way to send text messages to parents when your child's school or district needs to notify you in cases of emergency, attendance, and essential communications related to your student(s) education.

How can I receive these messages?: Parent cell phone numbers are listed in the Student Information System (SIS) are automatically enrolled to receive text messages. Make sure your parent cell phone numbers are listed in the "cell telephone" fields in the parent/guardian contact information section of the emergency care information form for each of your children. You can view and update emergency contact information using the weCare@school feature of FCPS 24-7 Learning.

How do I know if I am signed up?: Send a text message to 67587 with the words "SUBSCRIBE". You will receive a message from our vendor, SchoolMessenger, letting you know if your phone has been opted in for FCPS e-Notify notifications. It will appear on your cellphone as a message from "SchoolMessenger notifications". If you did not receive the proper reply message from SchoolMessenger, check your emergency contact information.
